Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

Surrounded by pink lotus flowers, this yellow-billed loon was a rare sighting along the coast of Georgia. It is the largest member of the loon family seen mostly in northern climates - though it has been sighted as far south as Mexico. The yellow-billed loon is a threatened species and under strict protection. It is known as a "diver" bird and is very skilled at diving and underwater fishing - but clumsy on land. Its call is an eerie wailing, lower pitched than the common loon.
